High School: From the Teacher's Desk

Parent Information Letter

by Kathy Orr

Dear Parents,

New school year, new rules. We are working this year on each student becoming more independent and responsible. The attached is a copy of what is given to the students and the expectations.
Things you can help with:

1. Expect homework-consider reading sections of the chapter that was discussed in class. If nothing else, read and highlight notes for classes.
2. Read with your student.... Yes, high schoolers enjoy being read to. Joke books, silly facts, even something from your history.
3. Come to Open House-we would love to see you, and so you can see where your student does his/her work.
The ultimate goal is to get your child out on their own to live a successful, independent life.

Thank You,

Kathleen Orr
