March Happenings:
1. AM (Accelerated Math)- 3B is currently working on AM. Your child will get an AM grade on their next midterm. These problems are review and give them extra practice. I encourage each child to achieve an 80% or higher when they scan.
2. Star Math-Each student has taken two Star Math tests on the computer. We will take one more before the year is over. These tests show me what AM library your child should be in and what skills they need more work on.
3. Check out this web site: spellingcity.com You can get on and have your child practice their spelling words each week. Look for my homepage- Mrs. McConnell's.
4. ISATS-The students did a great job cooperating during ISAT week. We had three reading tests, three math, and one writing test. We celebrated the end of ISATS with an assembly and watched High School Musical 3 in our classroom on our new projectors.
