Parent Teacher Conference Rationale.

Erie CUSD#1 has developed a goal to increase our parental contacts and communication. Our emphasis will be focused mainly on middle school and high school parental contacts. The elementary will continue the policy of meeting with every student's parent(s). The goal is to change the thought process on middle school and high school parent teacher conferences. We want to increase the level of communication all of our middle school and high school parents have with our teachers. Increasing communication with parents can only enhance the educational environment our students have within our school district. The following information will be the format we will be using for parent teacher conferences to try and achieve our district wide goal.

Middle School and High School Parents:

Contact the building office to schedule an appointment to meet with your child's teachers prior to the parent teacher conference dates of October 19th and 21st from:

3:30-7:30

Upon arrival that evening stop in the main office to pick up your child's report card and a schedule of the teachers you are visiting.

Pick up a cookie and coffee during your visit!!

** Walk-ins are welcome on both evenings if a schedule cannot be made in advance. If the report card is not picked up on the evening of the parent teacher conferences the students' will receive the report card on the following Monday.

Again, our main goal is to encourage all parents to be in our buildings talking with our faculty and staff to continue to increase the great school and community relationship that we have here at Erie CUSD#1.
