*4. SEAT BELT FACTS -
It would be a mistake to think you might be safer if you are thrown clear of the car in a crash. The fact is that your chances of being killed are 25 times greater if you are thrown from the car. The forces in a collision can be great enough to throw you as far as 150 feet - that is equivalent to 15 car lengths. You may be thrown into a tree, onto the pavement, or even run over by your own car.

Character Counts
“If Plan A isn't working, I have Plan B, Plan C, and even Plan D.” - Serena Williams
No wonder Serena Williams is one of the top tennis players in the world. She's a super-planner. Most of us think we're doing pretty well if we have a detailed Plan A with a sketchy backup Plan B for emergencies. But C and D? Isn't that overkill? Maybe it's the way to success? If you have a goal that's very important to you - something you want to achieve more than anything else in the world - plan as much as you can.
TODAY: I'll plan to achieve a goal.

8. FROM THE G.O. - The following College Representatives will be in the Guidance Office. Please get a pass from the G.O. before that date.
